Do you need to report a hate crime in Jersey? This page will give you the information on how to do it, what happens when you do and some of the support that is available if you have been a victim of hate crime.
The States of Jersey Police are committed to working with other criminal justice partners, statutory and voluntary organisations and the community, to effectively tackle hate crime and keep people safe.
What is a hate crime?
A hate crime or incident will be recorded where it is perceived that the perpetrator’s hostility or prejudice against any person or property is on the grounds of the victim’s ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, or disability.
How can I report a hate crime?
You can report a hate crime (non-emergency) directly by calling 01534 612612, or via the True Vision Online Reporting Form, which will be sent immediately to us. In an emergency, always call 999.
